At VCI Construction, as an Assistant Controller, you’ll assist with managing the company's accounting department and ensure that timely reporting requirements are met, covering all locations.

- Prepare and review monthly analysis/reconciliations of balance sheet accounts
- Assist the VP of Finance with annual budget and forecast
- Assist with preparation and file 571-L Unsecured Property Tax Forms
- Maintain the Fixed Assets ledger. and assist with preparation of fixed assets reconciliation including all related transactions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support overall business objectives
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes
- Coordinate with internal & external auditors for annual audits and ensure timely submission of audit requirements
- Assist with AR Aging and Unbilled Aging Reports
- Prepare and reconcile the Wip
- Prepare period-end journal entries as required
- To be 18 years of age or older
- Authorization to work in the United States for this company
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics - CPA or MBA preferred
- 10 years of progressive Accounting experience
- Familiarity with SOX compliance and internal controls
- Strong Analytical, Accounting and finance skills
- Construction industry experience
- Knowledge of Job Costing
- Strong Written & Oral Communication skills
- Advance Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel and related MS Office products
- Organized, detail oriented and able to work independently
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle crisis situations effectively
- Team player, self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to interact with a variety of people and work with all levels within the organization in a professional manner

Salary : $110,000 - $120,000
