- Oversee the development and implementation of volunteer programs, ensuring they meet the needs of our community and organization.
- Work closely with office staff to ensure effective communication and coordination of administrative volunteer services.
- Develop and maintain accurate records of volunteer services, including hours worked and services delivered.
- Recruit, interview, and select qualified volunteers based on their skills and availability.
- Design and deliver comprehensive volunteer orientation and training programs, equipping volunteers with the necessary skills to excel in their roles.
- Regularly evaluate volunteer performance, providing constructive feedback and opportunities for growth and development.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements, maintaining the highest level of professionalism and integrity.
- Stay up-to-date on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to volunteering, ensuring our organization remains compliant and forward-thinking.
Requirements:
- Possession of a Four-year college degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with volunteers, colleagues, and clients.
- Prior experience in healthcare, particularly in home care and recruitment, is highly valued.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
