Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in electrical manufacturing, assembly, and avionics systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in printed circuits, speed controllers/power systems, and power electronics fundamentals in the aerospace domain. This role involves collaboration with electrical and software engineers to develop and test prototype boards while performing comprehensive design analyses.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical System Development
- Design and develop electronics hardware involving System/Analog/Digital/Power Electronics Fundamentals within aerospace applications.
- Collaborate with electrical and software engineers to develop and test prototype boards.
Design and Analysis
- Conduct design analysis for power electronics circuits, including microcontroller support circuitry, discrete devices, signal conditioning, and sensor circuits.
- Assist in component selection and schematic entry while working closely with the project focal team.
Documentation and Process Management
- Prepare Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and detailed Work Instructions to streamline processes and documentation.
Tools and Standards
- Utilize tools like DOORs, adhere to Aerospace Standard Work, and use MSOffice Suite for project management and reporting.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Extensive experience in electrical manufacturing, assembly, and avionics systems.
- Strong understanding of System/Analog/Digital/Power Electronics Fundamentals in the aerospace domain.
- Hands-on expertise in designing and analyzing power electronics circuits and their associated components.
- Ability to prepare and manage ECOs and work instructions effectively.
- Proficiency in tools such as DOORs, Aerospace Standard Work, and MSOffice.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience in troubleshooting and optimizing prototype boards.
- Familiarity with advanced testing methodologies for aerospace systems.
