Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our tax season team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for helping customers. This role involves engaging with customers, addressing their inquiries, and providing exceptional service to enhance their experience with our tax preparation services.
Duties
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person with professionalism and courtesy.
- Schedule appointments.
- Gather documents, and digitize and distribute those documents & client communications to the tax team.
- Package tax returns and assist clients with our checkout process.
- Receive and record documents and payments.
- Assist clients with portal setup and use.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
- Maintain well-organized and clean desk area, ensuring that space is readily available for clients to pick up and sign documents.
- Utilize basic math skills to process transactions and manage cloud-based client relationship system effectively.
- Follow up on customer feedback to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer services is required.
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills are essential for effective client interactions.
- Ability to explain and assist with client portals.
- Experience with cash handling and basic math skills is required for transaction accuracy.
