Your experience includes:
- Bachelor of Business Administration degree required; Accounting and/or Finance degree preferred. Five years of accounting experience required.
- CPA with public accounting and/or financial institution accounting experience a plus.
- Strong Excel and analytical skills required.
- Knowledge of credit union finance, data processing and other back office operations and leading-edge delivery systems.
- Knowledge of credit union rules and regulations, fundamentals of the financial industry, auditing and accounting principles and concepts.
- Passion for providing outstanding service and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.
- Effective time management including the ability to prioritize responsibilities and organize work tasks.
- Adaptable to a productive team environment where knowledge is shared and feedback and coaching are welcomed.
What you’ll do:
As the staff accountant II, you’ll perform monthly financial reporting processes, prepare month-end financial reports, quarterly regulatory and cash management reports, complete financial statements, process manual journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts, and serve as a back-up for the accounts payable process. Additionally, in this role, you’ll assist the Controller in implementing internal controls, improving processes, training employees, preparing for audits, and other duties assigned.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm
