Job Summary:
The Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market presence, and building strong relationships with dealers, retailers, and customers across San Diego CA. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, goal-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will represent the Velotric brand and ensure that our bikes are available and well-promoted throughout the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development:
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve growth and revenue targets in San Diego CA. Identify and engage with potential retail partners, bike shops, and distributors to expand Velotric’s network in San Diego CA. Present Velotric products to potential dealers and customers in San Diego CA, highlighting unique features and benefits. Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new dealers/retailers in San Diego CA. Act as the main point of contact for retailers in San Diego CA, providing support, training, and after-sales service. Ensure dealers in San Diego CA have the necessary resources and materials to successfully sell Velotric bikes.
Market Research and Reporting: Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback in San Diego CA to identify new opportunities. Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and insights to the management team. Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure alignment on promotional activities and product launches in San Diego CA.
Travel: Frequent travel across San Diego CA to meet with dealers, attend events, and represent Velotric at trade shows and exhibitions in San Diego CA.
Participate in local marketing initiatives and bike-related events in San Diego CA to increase brand visibility.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in sales, preferably in the cycling, outdoor, or automotive industry.
Strong knowledge of the e-bike market and a passion for cycling.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Willingness to travel extensively within San Diego CA.
Valid driver’s license.
Preferred:
Experience working with bike shops or outdoor retailers in San Diego CA.
Knowledge of the San Diego CA market, particularly in cycling or e-mobility sectors.
