POSITION TYPE: Full Time. Direct Hire. Hybrid PAY: based on education and skills level.
Salary is $65,000-$75,000 annually
Requirements of the AP /AR Accountant:
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or similar a plus. Minimum of Associates degree required.
- Minimum of 5 years work experience in Accounting that includes Accounts Payable/Receivable activities.
- Knowledge in journal entries account reconciliations.
- Strong analysis skills.
- Organized individual. Able to follow up and communicate with people at all levels nationally and internationally.
- Technical skills with MS Office an Accounting system. Experience with Sage Intaact software is highly desirable.
Duties of the AP / AR Accountant:
- Retrieving, analyzing, and processing invoices for payment from vendors and contractors. Obtain approvals to pay.
- Process payment runs. Produce and review aging to ensure all vendors are paid on time and accurately.
- Generate customer invoices for services performed nationally and internationally. Distribute invoices per client requirements such as email, automotive web portals and various websites. Apply customer payments, reconcile any account differences. Follow up and obtain missed payments.
- Produce company reports and statements.
- Prepare and reconcile journal entries.
- Support month-end close activities.
Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
