Pay Range: $65,000-$75,000 annually
Direct Hire - Full Time - Benefits/PTO
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the accounts payable process, including invoice review, payment processing, reconciling vendor statements, and addressing any payment discrepancies.
- Compile and prepare financial reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing account data.
- Use accounting software like Sage 50 to record and maintain financial transactions.
- Generate regulatory reports and ensure adherence to financial regulations.
- Conduct account analysis to identify and resolve discrepancies or irregularities.
- Assist with payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely employee payments.
- Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Collaborate with private equity firms to provide financial data and support investment activities.
- Support tax preparation processes and ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Manage the accounts receivable process, including invoicing customers, tracking payments, and resolving any outstanding issues.
Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as Sage is Required.
- Restaurant industry experience required.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements
- Experience with financial statement preparation
- Familiarity with private equity accounting is a plus
