What are the responsibilities and job description for the 1st Class Shipfitter position at Venture Dynamics Gulf Inc?
Venture Dynamics Gulf, Inc. is currently hiring 1st class Shipfitters for a long-term Repair project in Mobile, AL.
You must have the following experience:
- 3 years of proven production experience and ability to work with limited supervision.
- Have shipyard experience
- Able to pass test: Crop/ Cut out a piece of plate. Prep it/bevel it then refit and tack it up.
- All craftworkers will have to complete a shipyard physical fitness test and drug screen.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50 per week
Schedule:
- 8-10 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Overtime
Ability to Relocate:
- Mobile, AL: Relocate before starting work (Required)
