Rigger

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Rigger to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of heavy equipment and materials on construction sites. This role requires a strong understanding of rigging techniques, heavy equipment operation, and safety protocols to ensure that all lifting and hoisting operations are performed correctly.

Responsibilities

• Set up and inspect rigging equipment, including slings, shackles, and hoists.
• Operate various types of heavy equipment such as cranes, bulldozers, dump trucks, concrete mixers, roll-off trucks, tankers, and water trucks.
• Collaborate with construction teams to determine lifting needs and develop rigging plans.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines during all rigging operations.
• Perform regular maintenance checks on rigging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Assist in the loading and unloading of materials as needed.
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure safety on site.

Experience

• Proven experience in rigging or heavy equipment operation is preferred.
• Familiarity with operating cranes and other heavy machinery.
• Experience with commercial driving is a plus.
• Ability to dig and maneuver heavy equipment in various terrains.
• Knowledge of safety standards related to rigging operations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
