Job Summary

Seeking a BIM Technician - Mid-to-Senior level, for a full-service architecture firm. The role involves collaboration within a mid-sized team, engaging in both design and technical production using AutoCAD and BIM across all stages of architectural projects.

Essential Job Functions

• Create detailed architectural construction documents using advanced industry software.
• Set up and maintain Revit files for drawing sets, incorporating backgrounds, annotations, and schedules.
• Integrate revisions into Revit models and ensure proper filing and labeling of documents.
• Assist engineers and maintain project schedules and document accuracy.
• Participate in special projects as guided by project or production managers.
• Assist in developing and upholding drawing standards.
• Use specialized software for wall panel layouts and truss designs.
• Collaborate with project managers and designers to produce precise BIM models and drawing packages.

Skills and Expertise Required

• Advanced skill in Revit and BIM360
• Basic sketching abilities
• Strong proficiency in design, problem-solving, and sustainable design technologies
• Competency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Familiarity with Photoshop and Sketchup is advantageous
• Basic understanding of architectural building systems
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to meet deadlines effectively

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of experience in design, drafting, or engineering
