Job Description
We are currently representing a Miami-based real estate investment firm focused on providing alternative, flexible capital for real estate transactions across multiple property types.
As part of its continued growth, it is now looking to expand and seek outside capital, and as a result, it is looking to hire a Head of Investor Relations for the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with institutional investors across North America
- Along with the other founders, help curate the story and message for prospective investors
- Arrange introductory and follow-up calls and/or meetings with prospective investors
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the marketplace and competitive landscape and successfully communicate to prospective investors
- Maintain relationships with existing investors and answer and queries they may have
- Along with other members of the team create relevant marketing materials from scratch for upcoming and future fundraises
- Attend relevant conferences and other industry events
- Help to set up relevant data rooms and be responsible for producing RFP’s, DDQ’s etc
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of experience with a similar investment manager or placement agent
- Track record of fundraising from North American investors
- Excellent written and communication skills
- The ideal candidate will have experience raising for real estate debt products or either real estate/credit
- Proven track record in building and managing client relationships in the private funds space.
- Degree educated, preferably within finance, business, or a related field.
Salary : $200,000 - $300,000
