Job Description:
- Apply powder coat to parts;
- Mix and prepare painting equipment according to needs;
- Assist/Calculate paint quantities;
- Coordination of parts in the correct location for pre-paint and post-paint;
- Visually inspect painted part for imperfections;
- Make liquid paint touch ups when necessary;
- Move parts that need to be sandblasted into sandblast room;
- Sandblast appropriate parts with sandblast gun
- Take parts out of sandblast room once completed and move to paint booth;
- Clean the sandblast booth and ensure grit is being recuperated;
- Coordinate as necessary to meet sand blast/paint needs;
- All other duties as assigned;
Desired skills:
- Minimum of 1 year experience with powder coat painting;
- Knowledge of metal preparation processes for painting;
- Experience mixing paint quantities;
- Experience working with powder coating/ liquid paint tooling;
- Experience applying liquid paint;
