Dining Services Director
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled individual to manage all aspects of food and dining operations in our community. As the Dining Services Director, you will oversee menu planning, food supplies, kitchen staff, and ensure a high-quality dining experience for our residents.
In this role, you will lead and manage the kitchen team, provide staff training, and ensure that the dining service meets both nutritional standards and resident satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include menu development, inventory management, procurement, and ensuring that food safety protocols are followed.
Job Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage kitchen staff and scheduling
- Oversee menu creation and recipe development
- Ensure food quality and safety standards are met
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure residents’ dietary needs are fulfilled
- Maintain kitchen supplies and cost controls
Qualifications:
- Formal culinary training
- Management Experience
- Previous experience in a senior living community
- ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
