Coaching Expectations
- Coaches will teach biblical principles to their team, as well as pray for and with the students, both individually and corporately.
- Coaches are expected to prioritize the building of character, citizenship, and academics over simply winning games.
- Coaches are expected to be knowledgeable of, and follow all M.S.H.S.A.A. guidelines, as well as the policies of the Christian School District.
- Coaches are expected to schedule all practices and provide for the supervision and leadership of all practices, with particular emphasis on safety.
- Coaches are expected to treat minor injuries with care and complete an Incident/Accident/Injury Report. All serious injuries should be reported to the trainer, AD, and school nurse.
- Coaches are expected to organize athletic award functions that present awards to athletes at the conclusion of the season.
- Head coaches are expected to report scores and summaries of contests to newspapers/media outlets and M.S.H.S.A.A. and rate/evaluate officials for MSHSAA after every contest.
- Coaches are required to use a systematic method of communication for players, parents, and administration.
Teaching and/or Strength and Conditioning Add-on Option
Teaching degree/experience preferred $25,000-$35,000 depending on credentials and experience.
Salary : $25,000 - $35,000
