Call Center Representative

Verity is hiring for a Call Center Representative at our Seattle, WA Headquarters location. This is an onsite position.  At Verity, we empower our member’s financial lives and create vibrant communities. The Call Center Representative processes basic transactions, educates members on alternate ways to transact on their accounts, checks member balances, assists members in disputing a transaction and discovers and recommends additional products and services that would benefit members.

• Base Pay: This position has a salary range of $20.94 (minimum) to $29.14 (maximum), with a midpoint of $23.31. Starting pay is offered based upon an applicant’s experience and education relevant to the position.
• Paid Time Off: All Verity employees receive 11 paid holidays per year, as well as paid time off (PTO is combined vacation and sick leave.) PTO starts accruing immediately at a rate of 15 days per year.
• Benefits: Both full and part time employees (and their family) are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance, with a no cost option available for employee only coverage! Employees have the option to enroll in our 401k plan and receive an employer match up to 6%.
• Other Benefits: This position is eligible for annual cash bonuses up to 1% and a 1% profit-sharing bonus to 401k accounts based on company performance.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Answers member questions and resolves problems with members’ accounts
• Listens to members, identify their needs, and offer appropriate products and service
• Provide referral assistance for investments and financial counseling
• Increase penetration in all Verity products and services
• Assists with the contact center operations, audits, and opening/closing procedures
• Implements and maintains policies and procedures to maximize efficiency and ensure proper documentation
• Adhere to established security procedures and compliance policies
• Identify issues of concern and contribute ideas toward the Credit Union vision
• Maintain knowledge of all state and federal regulations that are applicable to the transactions performed
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Education and Experience

• Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience in financial industry or call center (preferred)

PHYSICAL CONSIDERATIONS
