Job Title: Salesforce Developer Consultant

Location/ Work Structure: Altoona, PA - Onsite

Contract/Contract to Hire : 40 hours/week

Compensation: $45-60/hr

Client Overview:

Vernovis is currently looking for an experienced Salesforce Developer to help a client enhance their Salesforce environment. This role will help create integrations with existing internal system and 3rd party applications.

What You'll Do:

• Develop, customize, and maintain Salesforce applications and solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce Lightning.
• Design and implement scalable, reusable, and efficient code solutions to meet business requirements.
• Integrate Salesforce with third-party systems using SOAP APIs, middleware platforms, and tools like MuleSoft.
• Create custom workflows, process automation, and triggers to streamline business processes.
• Collaborate with Salesforce administrators and business stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure project alignment with business goals.
• Implement security models, including role-based access, profile permissions, and sharing rules.
• Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for coding and version control (using Git, Bitbucket, etc.).
• Develop and configure Salesforce reports, dashboards, and analytics to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

What Experience You'll Have:

• Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer with hands-on expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and/or Salesforce Lightning.
• Understanding of various Salesforce modules such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and other Salesforce products.
• Experience with Salesforce integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, external services) and data migration tools like Data Loader and Workbench.
• Familiarity with Salesforce automation tools like Process Builder, Flow Builder, and Workflow Rules.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g., Git, Bitbucket).
• Knowledge of data management practices, including SOQL, SOSL, and database management within Salesforce.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with business users, administrators, and other developers in a cross-functional team.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
