Restoration Estimator - Insurance Repairs

Versapro Restoration & Construction is a well-established and growing General Contractor / Restoration company currently
looking to hire a Construction Estimator person who has a positive attitude, strong communication skills
and detailed-oriented.

This is a full-time position Monday through Friday at a competitive salary based on experience with
benefits, paid holidays, vacation time and bonuses.

Job Responsibilities:
 Analyze drawings and specifications.
 Understand contractual terms and conditions.
 Provide clear detailed quantity take offs.
 Attend Pre-Bid Meetings, take detailed notes site photos.
 Assemble accurate and well-organized estimates and proposals in a timely manner for Stipulated
Price, Design-Build and Construction/Project Management formatted projects.
 Organize sub-contractor’s quotations, negotiate to ensure quotes meet contract documents and
issue proper documented purchase orders.
 Complete Budgeting and Scheduling for projects. Monitor progress, requisition change orders and
identify any potential risks.
 Maintain relationships with sub-contractors and clients.
 Ensure site personnel are provided with proper documentation related to project.
 Provide and maintain unit pricing and database for material and labor costing.
 Formulate cost break down from estimates and for project progress.
 Meet with potential clients to discuss options for proposed services.
Skills and Qualifications:

teamwork, Documentation Skills, and Quality Focus
Requirements:
 Must have minimum 5 years of Construction and Remodeling knowledge.
 Strong understanding of residential construction processes.
 Possess strong computer skills and be very proficient in Word, Excel Outlook.
 Must have a clean driving record and pass a background check before being hired.
 College degree helpful but not required.
Preferred:
 Experience with Xactimate Estimating software.
 Experience with Commercial Construction.
 Project Management.
