Duties
- Operate CNC machines and manual equipment to produce precision parts.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models.
- Utilize CAM programming to optimize machining processes.
- Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and tools to ensure optimal performance.
- Fabricate components using hand tools and machinery in compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members on the assembly line for efficient production flow.
- Perform materials handling tasks, including loading and unloading raw materials and finished products.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documents to determine machining requirements.
- Perform quality checks using precision measurement tools, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Troubleshoot and adjust machine settings as needed to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct routine maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements.
- Adhere to all safety and quality standards in the workplace.
Skills
- Proficient in CAM programming and CAD software for design purposes.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in a manufacturing facility setting.
- Familiarity with operating presses and other machining equipment.
