About the Role
Vestergaard Company A/S is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Sales and Freight Coordinator to join our team. This critical role manages the entire equipment sales cycle—from initial customer quotation to final delivery and invoicing.
As the key link between our sales team, production, finance, and customers, you will ensure a seamless and professional experience throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate customer quotations, including terms and conditions.
- Coordinate with the sales team to track, record, and maintain sales documentation.
- Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs) and documentation for equipment sold across North America.
- Serve as the liaison between our U.S. sales team and headquarters in Denmark to process and manage Customer POs.
- Handle all paperwork and notifications related to equipment sales.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical records for all customer deliveries.
- Collaborate with the Production Manager and Danish production team to coordinate delivery logistics and transportation documentation.
- Partner with U.S. and Denmark financial teams to ensure compliance with all import/export documentation requirements.
- Work closely with the Customer Service Department to support post-delivery handovers and internal alignment.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills: Able to juggle multiple priorities, manage schedules, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills: Comfortable interacting with customers, internal departments, and international teams.
