Roscoe Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Roscoe, NY is seeking an Activities Aide to become a member of our elite team!
EMPLOYMENT TYPE:
FULL-TIME
SHIFT: Days, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Every Other Weekend, One 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Holidays
Hourly Rate: $15.50 -$16.00
Requirements:
- Prefer CNA Certification or willing to train.
- Self-motivated
- Excellent customer service skills
- Physically able to transport residents in wheelchairs
- Ability to read and understand work assignments, as well as report verbally and provide written documentation as necessary
- Able to perform tasks while upholding high standards of quality, cleanliness and kindness
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Activities Director in carrying out the activity programs for the residents, families, and public
- Maintain activities records
- Transport residents to and from various activities
- Assist in a variety of fun and engaging events that help to create a more energetic atmosphere for our residents
- Greet families and guests as they enter the facilities
- Other responsibilities as assigned
