Our small animal/exotic/aquarium hospital is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician.
We are full service veterinary hospital focused on building long term relationships with our clients and their pets.
While experience is preferred, on the job training is available for the motivated candidate.
There are occasional weekend kennel duties.

Qualifications
- Licensed Veterinary Technician Certification
- Proven veterinary experience with a strong understanding of veterinary terminology and animal physiology
- Proficient in animal handling, restraint, and catheterization techniques
- Knowledge of pet care, animal anatomy, and dog handling
- Experience in kennel management and veterinary critical care is a plus
- Familiarity with dental terminology and laboratory procedures is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care for animals by performing routine examinations and administering vaccinations.
- Assist veterinarians with surgical procedures and ensure proper animal restraint during treatments.
- Maintain accurate medical records and utilize veterinary terminology in documentation.
- Monitor animal health and behavior, including administering medications and performing catheterizations.
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and handling techniques.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a clean and safe environment for all animals.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
