Position Summary
The CPAP and BiPAP Technician is responsible for ensuring that all applicable home medical equipment is set up according to the practitioner’s (i.e., MD, DO, PA, ARNP) prescription/order, with a specific focus on CPAPs and BiPAPs. The CPAP and BiPAP Technician will confirm set up prescriptions/orders and communicate any/all variances with VGM Fulfillment (“VGMF”) customer services representatives. This role will have oversight from a licensed professional and will not provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, evaluation/monitoring, and/or education. This is a fast-paced position with urgent deadlines requiring strong personal drive and commitment to success.

Responsibilities/Duties of the Job
- Properly translate the CPAP settings template that is prescribed/ordered by a practitioner
- Pick, set, and ship CPAP and BiPAP devices
- Oversight of CPAP / BiPAP prescriptions and orders to verify accuracy
- Follows strict confidentiality and HIPAA privacy and security guidelines
- Communicates effectively with the CPAP team lead and customer service team as needed
- Flexible availability to come in early and/or stay late as needed to provide adequate support to the business
- Maintains a positive and professional attitude while working with others
- Sets a positive example through personal attendance and time management
- Adapts and accepts change to support business objectives
- Works cooperatively in a team environment to achieve business goals and growth opportunities
- Performs other duties as assigned

Position Qualifications
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma/GED desired
- Equivalent professional experience preferred
- Must comply with continuing education per Company, regulatory, and contractual requirements’

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to fifteen (15) pounds at times
