Project Manager - VGM Corporate Information Technology (IT)

As a project manager with VGM IT, your primary responsibility is to manage the complete life cycle of information technology projects. You will design, plan, program, test, and implement solutions for single or multiple projects across all VGM divisions. In collaboration with other business units, the Project Manager will ensure timely and accurate delivery of strategic solutions. With any IT project, we anticipate dynamic change management may need to occur to keep a project on track and deliver business value. In this role, you will be the subject matter expert keeping teams on task to ensure satisfactory results.

Reporting Accountability : Director of Technology Solutions Delivery

Working Location : On-Site in Waterloo, Iowa or hybrid (on-site 3 or 4 days per week)

Working Hours Classification : Full-Time, 40 hours per week, 8am-5pm CST Monday-Friday with additional hours as business need requires

Responsibilities / Duties of the Project Manager in Corporate IT :

• Analyze project proposals to determine time frame, funding limitations and appropriate process for accomplishing projects across all VGM divisions
• Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones and assign scope of authority and duties to appropriate project personnel (whom you will also identify across all VGM divisions)
• Provide leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project life cycle
• Perform risk assessment and implement mitigation plans
• Review status reports prepared by project personnel and modify schedules or plans as required
• Establish standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation
• Continuously benchmark project management performance to identify improvements and provide thought leadership to achieve higher capability maturity in PPM
• Other duties that would require project management expertise as required and assigned – keeping projects on track is important, that’s why we need to hire you

Compensation Overview : The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.
