Production Manager
Responsibilities
- Diligently maintains a safe working environment for all employees, contractors, and guests.
- Coordinates production activities with all departments in the plant to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment.
- Directly supervises and mentors production supervisors.
- Reviews and analyzes production, quality, and operational reports to insure plant KPI’s are being met; and implements correct actions accordingly
- Manages and actively seeks to reduce all forms of waste and cost related to production
- Assures conformance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and HSE requirements.
- Works with the materials department to plan production schedules and forecast labor needs
- Assists the HR department in all personnel issues related to production employees including hiring, evaluation, promotion, conflict resolution, and when required, reprimands or termination.
- Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field or applicable on-the-job training
- Three or more years of experience in manufacturing operations
- Proficient in Microsoft office products
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- On site: There is no remote or hybrid option available for this role.
