Job Summary: Marketing Coordinator
Viking Pest, the leading regional pest control company, seeks a Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic marketing team. You will work on various projects, including Media Planning/Buying, Campaign reporting and landing page updates, content writing, and website assistance.
The position is a hybrid position requiring 4 days in the office. Applicants must live within driving distance of Basking Ridge, NJ, to work and collaborate in the corporate office.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a comprehensive database of media kits, vendor communications, and performance reports.
- Keep an updated list of potential vendors, including their media kits, for future consideration and opportunities.
- Manage "save for later" emails by obtaining media kits in real-time and adding them to the Media Planning base in Airtable for future planning.
- Research and identify new advertising tactics that are unfamiliar to us.
- Assist with writing ad copy to ensure effective communication.
- Maintain and manage YouTube channels to enhance our online presence.
- Support social media posting as needed to engage with our audience.
Marketing Operations:
- Gather and analyze campaign performance reports from vendors and platforms to measure effectiveness.
- Maintain campaign organization databases, ensuring alignment for UTMs, HubSpot Campaigns, CTM, etc.
- Write and optimize ad copy to improve campaign results.
- Update and optimize landing pages to enhance user experience and conversion rates.
- Clean up and maintain profiles on platforms like Apple Maps and Bing to ensure accurate information.
Content Writer and SEO assistance:
- Utilize WP Engine to assist with website management
- Exhibit strong writing and editing skills to produce high-quality content.
- Analyze data using Google Analytics and Search Console to inform SEO strategies.
- Maintain a basic understanding of SEO and its evolution to stay current with industry trends.
Additional Skills and Requirements:
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges and find solutions.
- Familiarity with Airtable, HubSpot, WP Engine, Google Analytics, and Search Console.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field
- 2 or 4 years of experience in the service industry, marketing preferred
- Experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
- Exceptional organization and time management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment
- Strong Excel skills
- Ability to analyze data & information and synthesize it into actionable insights that will drive strategy
- Resourceful team player with the ability to dive in head-first to do whatever is needed to get results
- Knowledge of the digital media landscape and strong organizational skills to manage various platforms and partners across multiple brands
- Ability & desire to work collaboratively within a team environment
