MARINA ASSISTANT (SEASONAL) The Village of Pentwater's Municipal Marina is seeking full time summer help. This is an hourly position. Village of Pentwater is an EEOC employer. 1. Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
2. Ability to deal with the public.
3. Reasonable knowledge of the safe operation of watercraft.
4. Mechanical knowledge or ability is desirable.
5. Knowledge of Microsoft 10 pro or higher and possess the ability to use a keyboard.
6. First Aid, CPR, and AED certified or can be certified. REPORTS T0: Pentwater Village Manager SUPERVISES: None. JOB GOAL: To serve the boating public and the interest of the Village of Pentwater towards the successful operation of the Marina PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Enforce and enhance all policies, procedures, and ordinances dealing with the operation and maintenance of the Marina.
2. Help maintain all logs and reports dealing with the operation of the Marina.
3. Collect money from boaters.
4. Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all money taken in.
5. Assist incoming and outgoing boaters and operate sewage pump-out.
6. Maintain service building and Marina grounds.
7. Maintain the fish cleaning station.
7. Assume any other duties as deemed necessary by the Marina Manager. WORK SCHEDULE: During the Marina season (April 15th – October 30th), employees shall work Thursday-Monday and shall be available as needed.
