THIS POSITION IS BASED IN ALEXANDRIA, MN. NO RELOCATION FUNDING IS AVAILABLE.
Vinco, Inc. is a rapidly growing, broad-based construction contractor with specializations in electrical and communications construction.
We have a need for a skilled Project coordinator in our Project Management group. You will be involved with a variety of responsibilities. This position requires 1-2 years prior experience working with construction applications and functions, terminology, permits, etc.
Some duties of this position include:
· Submitting requests for electrical construction permits;
· Follow up with county/city/state offices and tracking of inspections and close-outs,
· Tracking of hours, estimates, and project documents,
· Assist with documentation required for projects,
· Assist with other permit processes on projects and other functions.
A variety of other duties may be assigned based on needs of the department.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
· Prior construction experience is required: knowledge of permits and licensing, RF, low voltage, reading and understanding plan schematics, blueprints, and technical documents is extremely useful;
· Proficient in MSOffice, especially Excel as there is extensive use of spreadsheets, Word, Outlook;
· Strong analytical and organizational skills;
· Ability to multi-task and work independently or with a team;
· Ability to work with confidential information.
