Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring top-tier service quality, seamless kitchen coordination, and exceptional guest satisfaction.
- Manage budgets and P&L and optimize profitability while maintaining high standards.
- Lead, mentor, and train staff to deliver outstanding hospitality and retain top talent.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Build strong relationships with guests, fostering loyalty and a welcoming atmosphere.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotions and meet deadlines, enhancing visibility and driving growth.
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a General Manager in a steakhouse or fine dining establishment.
- Familiarity with the San Jose market is a plus—understanding local dining trends, competitors, and guest preferences is key.
- Strong knowledge of wine and steak cuts is essential to elevate the guest experience.
- Experience with restaurant technology platforms, such as TOAST and SpotOn, is highly desirable.
- Ability to lead by example, setting the tone for excellence in a fine dining setting.
- Exceptional communication and guest relations skills.
- Proven ability to train, motivate, and retain a high-performing team.
- Calm and composed under pressure, particularly during busy service times.
- Skilled at balancing outstanding service with financial acumen.
- Demonstrated success in managing budgets, reducing costs, and driving revenue through strategies like upselling and efficient food/labor cost management.
- Ability to analyze operational inefficiencies and implement effective improvements.
