Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage all aspects of special events, including weddings, corporate gatherings, private parties, and other celebrations. Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and ensure every detail is executed flawlessly
- Select, negotiate, and coordinate with vendors (caterers, decorators, audiovisual teams, etc.) to ensure that all event requirements are met and budgets are adhered to
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining clear and consistent communication throughout the planning process
- Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring all details align with the agreed-upon plan
- Identify opportunities to grow event revenue and maximize venue utilization
- Create and manage event budgets, track expenses, and provide detailed financial reporting to ensure profitability while delivering exceptional value to clients
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Event Management, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in event planning and management, with a minimum of 1 year in a hospitality or restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and labor regulations
- Proficient in event management tools and software and Google Suite
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and lead discussions with diverse individuals
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
