I njection Molding Machine Operator
Two Shifts :
5 : 30am - 5pm Monday - Wednesday plus 5 : 30am - 12 : 30pm on Thursdays $15 / hr (40 hours)
5 : 30pm-5 : 30am Monday - Wednesday $16 / hr (36 hours)
Job Summary :
The Injection Molding Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic parts efficiently and safely.
Must be able to stand for 10-hour shifts.
Key Responsibilities :
- Machine Setup and Operation : Set up and operate injection molding machines, load materials, and adjust settings for optimal production.
- Quality Control : Monitor production, inspect finished products, and make adjustments to ensure quality standards.
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting : Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot minor issues, and report major problems.
- Documentation : Maintain production records and report data to supervisors.
- Team Collaboration : Work with other operators and staff to ensure smooth workflow.
Qualifications :
- Education : High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
- Experience : Previous experience in injection molding or a similar role preferred.
- Physical Requirements : Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to insert weight , and perform repetitive tasks.
Work Environment :
- Fast-paced manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and machinery.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required.
