What the role is about:
We are seeking a Sales Support Specialist to provide administrative and operational support to the Wholesale Sales team, ensuring smooth execution of all sales-related activities.
What impact you’ll make:
- Process and track wholesale orders, ensuring accuracy in pricing, product availability, and compliance with state regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date customer records, sales data, and inventory reports using tracking system.
- Act as a liaison between the sales team, production, fulfillment, and logistics departments to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Communicate with wholesale customers regarding order status, product availability, pricing, and any customer inquiries or concerns.
- Using PowerPoint and/or Canva to assist in creation of promotional materials
- Assist in the creation and distribution of sales reports, forecasts, and performance analytics for management review.
- Support the development of sales materials, including product catalogs, price sheets, and promotional content.
- Ensure compliance with all cannabis industry regulations and company policies regarding sales, invoicing, and inventory tracking.
- Assist in coordinating customer visits, product demonstrations, and industry trade shows as needed.
- Provide general administrative support such as scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining sales documentation.
What you’ve accomplished:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- 2 years of experience in sales support, customer service, or administrative roles; experience in cannabis, CPG, or wholesale distribution is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and CRM software; experience with METRC or other seed-to-sale tracking systems preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first mindset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Understanding of cannabis industry regulations and compliance requirements for wholesale transactions.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass all state-required background checks.
