Quality Control Technician/Porter

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician/Porter to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for verifying all completed repairs using established inspection processes.

This is an entry level position. the ideal candidate will either be a retired individual with an automotive repair background who wants to re-enter the workforce, or someone interested in using this position as a stepping stone to an auto or light diesel repair apprenticeship within our shop.

Duties

• Test drive vehicles to verify all completed repairs.
• Ensure the cleanliness of the vehicle post repairs.
• Document the QC process using both written documentation and photos.
• Effectively communicate any issues with relevant staff.
• Keep shop neat and clean.
• Serve as a porter for customers and vehicles as needed.
• Assist with parts pick up as needed.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license
• Ability to drive a stick shift or willingness to learn
• Attention to detail
• Neat and clean appearance and the ability to act in a professional and courteous manner.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
• Either entry level candidate with desire to grow into an apprentice or retired individual with automotive repair background looking to return to the workforce.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
