Job Duties
This full-time position is responsible for but not limited to the following:
Installation, configuration, set up and maintenance setup of desktop and laptop computer hardware and software for faculty, staff, and cadets.
Provide telephone, walk-in, and e-mail support to the Barracks Help Desk/Lab and Faculty/Staff Help Desk as needed.
Accurately document work in Help Desk Ticketing System.
Obtain hardware and software quotes from vendors.
This position will be required to work on Campus.
Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge of hardware installation/repair and software configurations.
Experience supporting Microsoft operating systems and the Office Suite.
Must be dependable with a proven history of excellent work attendance.
Able to follow instructions.
Detail oriented with IT skills to perform basic troubleshooting.
Must work well with minimal supervision.
Must be self-motivated and use time wisely.
Must have a positive attitude.
Able to work well independently as well as in a team setting.
Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent organizational skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Excellent communication skills (oral, written, and listening).
Professional appearance and dress.
Additional Considerations
Associate's Degree in Information Systems or similar field.
Previous PC technician experience.
Previous MAC experience.
Previous Help Desk experience.
