What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant (Heritage Haven) - Part-Time with Benefits - Days position at Virginia Mennonite Retirement Community, Inc.?
This position is responsible for providing support to Heritage Haven (HH) staff and residents. This includes administrative, typing, and clerical responsibilities; management support; the HUD certification process; information and receptionist responsibilities for residents and the public; and marketing support.
Based on previous experiences and qualifications, the starting base pay rate is $15.45 - $20.30 per hour.
Work Schedule:
- 11:00 am-5:00 pm, Monday-Friday
- 30 hours per pay period (every 2 weeks)
- Eligible for benefits upon the date of hire
High school diploma or equivalent with the ability to complete basic clerical tasks (Associate's Degree preferred). Minimum of 1-year experience in a clerical, secretarial, or administrative position. Must provide outstanding customer service using a friendly, outgoing, and customer-first approach in person and by phone. Must be highly organized, maintain high accuracy, possess computer experience with proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook, and can learn new software packages. Must understand and carry out oral and written assignments. Must be a self-starter who can perform the duties listed in the job description independently with limited supervision, self-motivated, willing to be flexible, and accommodate changing priorities. Must have a pleasant personality and work closely with staff and the senior population calmly, cooperatively, respectfully, and professionally.
