IT Support Technician

Busy Pediatric practice in Northern Virginia seeking applicants for a part-time Entry Level Healthcare IT Support Technician.

The IT Support Technician duties will include the following:

· Perform the installation, maintenance, upgrade, and repairs of computer and network equipment

· Install and upgrade Electronic Health Record Software, Practice Management Software, standard word processing, spread sheet, desktop publishing, and Internet software packages as requested

· Perform regular and on-demand system backups and recoveries

· Monitor and troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking problems as they occur

· Assist employees with connecting to network resources

· Part-time

Qualifications Required:

· Must have strong PC software/OS proficiency, including Microsoft Windows 11 and up-to-date with current Windows Server versions

· Experience troubleshooting healthcare systems (EMR/EHR/PM software)

· Must be able to occasionally travel between 4 offices when needed (Fairfax, Herndon, Great Falls and Aldie)

· Associates degree.

· Experience in a professional writing structure

· Advanced knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their communities (Facebook, Google, Yelp, YouTube, Twitter, other pediatric and medical online platforms, etc.)
