Germanna Community College is seeking to hire two part-time Enrollment Support Specialists to work in the Enrollment Lab and Student Help Desk within Enrollment Services. These roles are dedicated to delivering outstanding service by guiding prospective students through their educational journey, from their initial inquiry to enrollment after applying to the college.
Each position works directly with students, with one assigned to the Fredericksburg Area Campus (FAC) and the other to the Stafford Campus. These part-time positions require a minimum of 29 hours per week. Flexibility and a willingness to work at other locations as needed are essential.

Key Responsibilities
- Provides students with assistance in system access, admissions onboarding, registration, and financial aid guidance.
- Make referrals to Counseling, Advising, Accessibility Resources, Veteran’s Affairs, Testing, and other support services.
- Assist students with their schedules, conduct email, text, and phone outreach.
- Support students both in-person and online, responding to email requests, and processing documentations for students.
- Provide excellent customer service, timely follow-up, and ability to empathize with others in a high touch environment.
- Troubleshoot any barriers the student may have in onboarding as well as outline the onboarding process for new students.
- Provide students with assistance with inquiries about online services, access, and technology.

KSA's/Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in Enrollment Services, an Admissions Office, or as an Enrollment Support Specialist or in a related role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management.
- Strong analytical skills with making informed decisions.
- Detailed-oriented and capable of maintaining confidential information.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle stressful situations.
- Experience using student information system (PeopleSoft, Banner, Navigate, etc.)
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus, but not required.
- Knowledge of EAB Navigate and CRM systems.
- Experience working with students in a higher education setting.
- Experience with or willingness to learn artificial intelligence tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and an ability to connect with a diverse student and community population.
