Job Summary:
We are seeking a Java Production Support Engineer to manage, troubleshoot, and optimize Java-based applications in a high-availability environment. The role involves analyzing system specifications, handling production incidents, and ensuring seamless system performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Support & Troubleshooting: Monitor, diagnose, and resolve production issues in Java applications.
- System Analysis & Performance Tuning: Identify bottlenecks, optimize application performance, and conduct root cause analysis.
- Specification & Documentation: Manage functional and technical specifications, maintain support documentation, and ensure compliance with system requirements.
- Deployment & Maintenance: Assist with application deployments, version upgrades, and environment management.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure system stability.
- Incident & Change Management: Follow ITIL best practices for incident resolution, change management, and service improvements.
Required Skills:
- Java / J2EE Strong experience in Java-based application support.
- SQL & Database Management Writing queries, troubleshooting database-related issues.
- System Integration & APIs Working with REST/SOAP APIs, microservices, and middleware components.
- Technical Documentation Creating and maintaining support guides and technical specifications.
- Monitoring Tools Experience with tools like Splunk, AppDynamics, New Relic, or similar.
- Incident & Problem Management Expertise in ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Jira
