Stockroom Supervisor

Pay Range:

$78,600 - $91,300/yearly salary

Essential Responsibilities:

• Responsible for directing the daily activities of stockroom and shipping/receiving personnel, providing training and resolving issues as required, ensuring on-time shipment and kitting while maintaining inventory accuracy
• Set up and execute a cycle count program, determining root cause of discrepancies, making adjustments and initiating corrective action as required
• Ensure parts for work orders are kitted efficiently and accurately
• Schedule and issue jobs for manufacturing sub-components, in support of min/max requirements
• Identify opportunities to reduce labor and improve efficiency
• Provide leadership of staff to accomplish goals and objectives established by upper management
• Cross train employees to provide the flexibility to assign needed task to multiple employees which increase morale and productivity
• Ensure all safety guidelines and procedures are follow within the stockroom area
• May be required to perform other duties

Job Experience/Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent. Technical school/Associate degree a plus
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory or managerial role for a stockroom/shipping/receiving operation
• Experience with stockroom issuing, kitting, receiving and shipping processes
• Experience with conducting cycle counts, including reconciliations and correction actions
• Experience in a pick to order/pack to order environment, preferably in a micro-electronic operation
• Experience providing training and leadership in all stockroom related activities
• Experience with Epicor system a plus
• Computer skills, data entry experience (Word and Excel) and proven working knowledge of computer usage
• Proficient in English. Must have good English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong interpersonal skills and team orientation, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of people
• Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
• Able to prioritize job flows, schedule and manage time efficiently
• Strong problem solving and multi-tasking abilities required
• Well organized and able to work independently
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment with constant change

Licensing/Certification/Registration

• Forklift Operator certification preferred, not required. Will be able to obtain during employment

Work Environment

Work is performed primarily in a warehouse/stock area environment; adheres to required safety and dress standards to prevent exposure to hazardous materials. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate, talk, and listen. May be required to sit, stand continually, walk for period of time; reach, climb, bend, stoop, and twist using full range of motion to perform normal stockroom duties; lift 25 to 50 pounds, and operate a computer and enter information using a keyboard, operate a telephone, and other office equipment for an extended period of time. As some visual inspection duties will also be required, specific vision abilities include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. May be exposed to hot/cold conditions, high-volume noise, exposure to stored energy hazards (electricity, compressed gases, etc.), and/or hazardous materials such as chemicals (e.g. alcohol, acetone, acids, solvents and photo resist) or particulate matter.

May be requested to work overtime and weekends to suit operational needs.
