RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee all aspects of service department operations, including workflow efficiency, technician productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines, warranty policies, and dealership procedures.
- Drive process improvements to enhance profitability and operational effectiveness.
- Serve as a liaison between technicians and customers
- Take ownership of the customer's experience by carrying out those additional assignments that allow the dealership to leave a positive impression with the customer
- Recruit, train, and mentor service advisors, technicians, and support staff.
- Distribute work between technicians
- Prioritize required services
- Ensure customer has an exceptional dealership experience
- Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries
- Spend quality time building relationships with the customers
- Ensure proper accounting and financial health of the service department.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High volume fixed operations experience is preferred but not required.
- Technical automotive knowledge is helpful but not required
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage others
- Organized and friendly personality
