Our client is a highly successful, multi-billion-dollar asset management company headquartered in lower Fairfield County, Connecticut. The organization structure is "flat" so the level of this role is more of an Accounting Manager than Senior Associate. Highlights below:
- This highly visible role will report to the Chief Accounting Officer and will be responsible for accounting, analytics and reporting with a focus on the corporate entity structure. He/she will partner with business units and functional leaders in various locations.
- Great opportunity to play a key role in the monthly and quarterly close process and contribute to projects aimed at improving the timeliness and efficiency of financial reporting.
- Ideal candidates will be public accounting trained professionals with a strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting as well as experience within the asset/investment management, private equity, venture capital, or similar space.
