Accounts Payable Clerk
Visionary Broadband seeks a qualified individual to fulfill the role of Accounts Payable Clerk. This full-time position will join the Accounting team at Visionary Broadband, a division of Visionary Communications, Inc., one of the top service providers in the region. The position will be based out of Visionary’s Gillette, WY office.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable using accounting software and other programs
- Invoice auditing
- Credit card reconciliations
- Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges
- Ensuring bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures
- Scan and file processed invoices
- Analyze workflow processes
- Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors
- Establish and maintain relationships with other managers and team members within the company
- Other duties and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
A qualified candidate must possess the following skills, or have equivalent experience and/or qualifications:
- Associate degree in a business-related field preferred
- 1-3 years related experience (Accounts Payable in a large volume setting)
- Ability to always remain professional and courteous with customers
- Must have computer experience and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Google Documents
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Must be available to work occasional times outside of the normal 8-5 working schedule
Physical Requirements:
This position requires working in an office setting, climbing, stooping, bending and other physical requirements.
10% / - of the time will be spent walking and standing in various weather conditions, as well as occasional lifting and / or carrying and / or pushing / pulling of items less than 25lbs.
Visual and audio acuity is essential to this position.
