Job Overview
Visiting Angels of Lenoir is seeking a dependable, organized, and people-focused Office Assistant to join our team. You’ll be the first point of contact for caregivers, clients, and applicants, while supporting recruitment, compliance, and daily operations. Responsibilities
- Answer phones and greet visitors in a professional manner
- Address client administrative needs, including billing and documentation
- Coordinate caregiver recruitment: post jobs, screen candidates, schedule interviews
- Organize and host caregiver orientations, manage onboarding paperwork
- Maintain up-to-date caregiver compliance records (background checks, TB tests, etc.)
- Support scheduling coordination and timekeeping
- Handle general administrative duties: filing, copying, emails, and supply management
- Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with clients, families, and caregivers
- Contribute to a team culture focused on service excellence and responsiveness
- Utilize Google Suite applications for document creation, data entry, and communication
- Collaborate with team members on various projects to improve workflow efficiency
- Perform clerical duties such as data entry, scanning, and photocopying as needed

Experience
- Previous experience in an office environment is preferred but not mandatory

- Familiarity with customer support practices is beneficial
