Visiting Angels is looking to add a new Home Care Aide or CNA to join our Tri Cities and Walla Walla team. The Home Health Aide/CNA will assist clients in their homes with all daily activities. These activities include everyday living, housekeeping, bathing and dressing, transportation, cooking, shopping, toileting, medication reminders, assistance with mobility, and continence care.
The ideal person for this position has the experience, compassion, and a solid understanding of all aspects of client's home care needs.
We are currently hiring for Monday, Thursday and Friday shift coverage 6:00AM to 5:00 PM
*Must be comfortable working with animals.

Responsibilities:
- Support daily activities – Ensure clients safety and well-being are met by facilitating social interactions, therapeutic conversations, and secure environments. Offer prompts to the client, if needed, such as toileting, eating, and any liquid needs. Observe the clients medical health as well as their physical and mental responses. Provide written and verbal reports about the clients condition and guidance to Care Coordinator.
- Apply compliance knowledge – Demonstrate knowledge of all aspects of client care by using a sensitive approach. Knowledge and compliance of all state client rights are required.

Qualifications:
- -Current CNA or HCA certification.
- -Previous caregiving experience.
- -Dementia Experience.
- -Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- -Compassionate, reliable, and a patient demeanor
