Job Overview

Join our dedicated team as a Regional Center Home Care Aide, where you will play an essential role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals in your community. This position involves a variety of caregiving responsibilities, including personal care, homemaking tasks, respite care, and advanced personal care, with opportunities for additional training.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, which may include bathing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Perform homemaker duties such as housekeeping, meal preparation, and running errands.
• Provide respite care as needed, offering support to clients and their families.
• Collaborate with VNA to inform about participation in the CDS sister program and adhere to conflict of interest guidelines.
  
  

Required Skills

• Strong communication abilities to effectively interact with clients and their families.
• Basic mathematical skills to assist with tasks such as measurements and transactions.
• Reliability in transportation and ability to meet travel requirements for home visits.
  
  

Qualifications

• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
• A GED or high school diploma is mandatory.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.
• Must not be listed on the Employee Disqualification List (EDL).
• Completion of a full application, including at least two credible business references, is required.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
