Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and monitor patient symptoms and response to treatments.
- Educate patients and their caregivers on care techniques and medication management.
- Administer prescribed intravenous and injectable medications as necessary.
- Conduct wound management and ostomy care while promoting patient independence.
- Communicate any changes in the patient’s health status to the attending physician.
- Proficiency in assessing health conditions and interpreting treatment outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills for instructing patients and families.
- Competence in administering medications and performing clinical procedures.
- Strong ability in managing wounds and facilitating ostomy care.
- Capacity to foster patient autonomy and effectively liaise with healthcare providers.
- Must hold a valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in the State of Missouri.
- A minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare setting as an LPN is required.
