We have an exciting opportunity for Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team.
This position will support the full hiring cycle from raising and qualifying a requisition, liaising with external partners, candidates, and internal stakeholder to processing offers.
Working closely with, and reporting into, the Head of Talent Acquistion to support delivery of resourcing activity in the professional services industry across the region – UK, Ireland, Channel Island, Middle East, Europe and The Americas
Supporting recruitment activities for the region. A team of 6 in the Talent Acquisition department for the Region plus 4 sourcers, working closely with the HR Shared Service centre (HRSSC) team based in Mumbai
Key Responsibilities:
- Coach, guide hiring managers around recruitment best practice i.e. interview techniques, community pages in VConnect (ATS system), how to screen through the ATS platform
- Work proactively and collaboratively with the wider Global Talent team – support with projects, assist with queries, attend team meetings
- Attend weekly HRSSC meetings to proactively update on your open roles and offers
- Always act in the best interest of Vistra mitigating risk where possible i.e. ensuring agency terms are agreed before engaging, assessing the key motivators of candidates to ensure these are addressed where possible – ensuring a long lasting and happy relationship within Vistra
- Ensure VConnect position and requisition data is up to date on a daily basis
- Support where requested by the Head of Talent Acquisition or wider HR/Talent team with the roll out of people value proposition and any other continuous improvement initiatives
- Managing job postings and responses
- Support the Head of Talent Acquisition with reporting as requested
- Review, respond, coordinate candidate applications and conduct phone screenings
- Organise phone, in person, video conference (Microsoft Teams) interviews, and where necessary attend
- Work within defined recruitment processes and timelines
- Directly source candidates online via LinkedIn recruiter; creating projects for each role and build talent networks (social media, events)
- Proactively act on other methods to attract candidates i.e.job boards, through internal networks, probing on remote working (via hiring manager), different base locations for the role, and others
- Ensure offer paperwork is issued in a timely manner through VConnect (ATS system); working closely with HR colleagues in Country and the HRSSC
- Work closely with other members of the team to ensure a seamless and engaging recruitment experience
- Liaise with vendors where appropriate to ensure a joined-up and seamless manager experience, and negotiate fees with Talent Partner guidance
- Ad-hoc support; development of recruitment initiatives, recruitment event support, sourcing information, research, data, and analytics
Attributes/Technical Skills:
Essential:
- People centric - a natural flair in dealing with a wide range of stakeholders, building repour, coaching and guiding
- Honest and transparent – raising any issues of concern immediately with the Head of Talent Acquisition so this can be addressed and mitigated swiftly
- A natural proactive problem solver
- Excellent communication skills (written/verbal) and effective persuasion skills
- Time management skills, with the ability to multitask, work independently, prioritize workload and work within a fast-paced environment
- Highly organised with the ability to manage high volumes of candidates
- Confident IT user (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Experience of ATS systems
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly
Relevant Experience:
- Previous recruitment experience - working in-house or agency – minimum of 1 to 2 years
- Working in professional Services – ideally Financial Services
Education and Professional Qualification:
- Degree qualified or relevant qualification
