What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chiropractic/Finance Assistant position at Vital Connection Chiropractic?
Our Chiropractic/ Finance Assistant is a vital part of the Vital Connection Chiropractic Team, which provides exceptional customer service and financial clarity to our clients. The Chiropractic/ Finance Assistant is the primary contact for managing our clients' financial accounts and ensuring our clients experience exceptional customer service. This critical role has in-depth knowledge of our existing customer expectations and is also adept at handling inquiries and explaining and collecting on all client financial responsibilities. Daily responsibilities include explaining treatment plans, setting up client payment plans, scheduling appointments and maintaining the clients clinical expectations. This is a key role in connecting communication with the doctors, the scheduling team, financial specialists and the customers.

Customer Service

- Establish and maintain positive, professional relationships with our clients to ensure the highest level of client satisfaction and client retention.
- Effectively and professionally address and productively resolve client inquiries, problems, concerns and/or complaints regarding Vital Connection Chiropractic services.
- Be knowledgeable about Vital Connection Chiropractic services; including general chiropractic philosophy (we'll train on this), pricing, and general office policies.
- Review client recommendations for care with clients, take payments, and maintain clinical integrity.
- Communicate with Vital Connection internal and external teams regarding schedule conflicts, client retention, financial concerns or client account needs.
- Follow-up with clients when needed to assure the highest level of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Maintain accurate statistics/reports to deliver to the entire Vital Connection Chiropractic team.

Requirements

- A high-school diploma, and at least 2 years’ experience in customer service, customer-interacting, or customer-facing role is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; including the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in-writing with customers, and at all levels of the organization.
- High attention to detail and a consistent history of accuracy in completed work.
- Well-developed customer service skills.
- Demonstrate ability to problem-solve in standardized scenarios involving several concrete variables (we will train on these).
- Strong mathematical skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Computing skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Must be able to stand throughout the day (this is a standing position).
Preferred Qualifications
- A certificate program or two-year degree in customer service, business management, business administration, finance, or similar field is preferred, but not required. Experience working in a customer service role is preferred, but not required. Experience in the alternative/holistic health field is preferred, but not required. Strong computing skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe

Hours are 36 hours per week on average:
Monday/Thursday 6:45-1pm (1 hour unpaid lunch) 2pm-7pm
Tuesday 6:45-2pm
Wednesday 1:45-7
NO Fridays/Saturdays/Sundays (3 DAY WEEKEND!!) – *** 2 hour training each Friday within the first 30 days is required. There will be some weekends each month where you may be needed for events in the community.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
