Introduction: We are currently seeking a motivated, career-oriented Front Office Check-In/Check-Out Representative to join our team. As a Front Office Representative, you will be responsible for welcoming patients, scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and assisting with financial transactions, all while maintaining a positive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Appointment Scheduling: Optimize patient satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or over the phone.
- Managing Patient Flow: Keep patient appointments on schedule by notifying providers of patient arrivals, reviewing service delivery, and reminding providers of any service delays.
- Patient Comfort: Anticipate patient anxieties, provide comforting reassurance, answer questions, and maintain a welcoming reception area.
- Patient Records Management: Ensure the availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records.
- Financial Management: Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information, and collecting patient balances.
- Revenue Collection: Record financial information, control patient credit, and collect payments while maintaining confidentiality.
- Inventory Management: Maintain business office inventory and equipment by checking stock levels, anticipating needed supplies, and ensuring timely ordering and receipt of supplies.
- Emergency Response: Provide assistance to patients in distress by responding appropriately to emergencies.
- Confidentiality and Compliance: Protect patient rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information in accordance with privacy regulations.
- Team Collaboration: Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed and supporting office policies and procedures.
Job Requirements:
Education/Licensure/Certifications:
- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) required.
Job Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience working in a medical facility.
- Experience with inbound calls required.
- Medical Assistant experience preferred.
