Office Administator
Vital Health is an integrated care provider of primary care, behavioral health and substance use disorders for adults and children in Northwest Ohio. Vital Health is looking for an individual with excellent interpersonal skills to join our team. This individual will assist with greeting our patients, facilitating intake of new patients, and will provide support for the essential day-to-day operational functions and the clinical staff in our treatment facility. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and wants to "own" their role and job responsibilities.
The perfect candidate for this position will have a “sunny” disposition, a positive outlook and be able to interact effectively with all types of people. Self-direction, ability to multi-task and attention to detail are essential. This is a full time Monday through Friday position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Prepare the office for patient appointments
· Keep waiting room in order and hospitality cart stocked
· Answer telephones, take messages and/or transfer calls
· Schedule patient appointments
· Greet patients and provide assistance with check-in
· Establish insurance coverage and collect co-payments
· Assist with pre-authorization for medical services
· Assist with patient referrals and follow-up with other providers
· Maintain and compile information in medical records and charts
· Assist medical staff.
· Sort incoming mail, prepare outgoing mail and faxes
· Prepare memos and letters
· Update calendar events and schedule meetings
· Track and order office supplies
Requirements
2 years’ experience working in the healthcare field
2 years’ experience in medical office administration
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Superior customer service skills
High level of professionalism
Computer literate, punctual and organized
Accuracy and attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
